MCT Inspiration Wednesday!

Good morning! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods :) The last few weeks have been busy and I'm sorry for not having anything to share with you until now :( Today is Inspiration Wednesday at My Creative Time and I have a fun beach theme card to share with you! We have been tossing around the idea of "maybe" taking a little weekend trip to the beach! So my inspiration for this card is all the fun things you can find there! Emma's, Surf's Up Stamp set was PERFECT for this card!

I found these super cool sunglasses in the Silhouette Store! After I got it all put together, I added liquid glass to the lens to make them look a little more real :) I used the different words and randomly stamped above the sun glasses using different colors of ink. I also used the sentiment from this same stamp set and stamped it underneath the sunglasses :)

I'm working on next week's release! It's going to be another jaw dropper so be ready hee hee! Can't wait to sneak peeks start :) Thank you all SO much for hanging in with me during my little break time! Have a GREAT day and I'll see you back soon :) BIG Hugs, Leanne

Thanks for all you do!

Hello! I'm so sorry that you have been hearing crickets on my blog the last couple of weeks :(  It seems life just keeps us on a roller coaster! Last week, my father in law was flown by helicopter to a out of town hospital :( He has had bone cancer for awhile, but they found a blood clot on his brain and had to go in and remove it :( Our hearts are broken, he passed away last Thursday night. We stayed at the hospital from Sunday night to Thursday night and drove home this past Friday. We buried him on Sunday :( We have been totally exhausted since we loss so much sleep last week and trying to catch up on some this week! So please forgive me for just a tad bit longer! I haven't found my mojo just yet :)

I hated so bad that I missed out on release week! I was able to get just a few things made so I'll be sharing them over the next few days :) This card I made for day one of sneak peeks. My card made it up on Emma's Blog but I didn't get to post it to mine! I found the fairy with flower in the Silhouette store. I used PK-660 Laughy Taffy for her face. The die cut part of the sentiment and the sentiment are from the new release, Happy Thoughts stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a GREAT 4th of July!
Hugs, Leanne

Happy Flip Flop Day Blog Hop!

HELLO everyone & welcome to our "Happy Flip Flop Day Blog Hop!"  We are ALL SUPER EXCITED because we will be showcasing a set called "Sit Back & Relax" that will be released next week! This FUN set includes a total of 19 stamps with coordinating dies! But, just for hopping today & leaving comments on all of our blogs, Emma decided to have 5 of us give away this FABULOUS set to 5 lucky peeps BEFORE it's released! We will not be saying which 5 of us are giving it away, so you might want to comment on ALL the blogs so you won't miss out! :) All 5 winners will be announced on Emma's Blog on Sunday, June 22nd at noon PST! So you have until Saturday, June 21st at midnight PST to leave your comments.

Happy Friday! Did you know today was officially Flip Flop Day?! It sure is! I love my flip flops and to be honest I busted mine out weeks ago hee hee! You should be arriving here from Micia's Blog. If you just stumbled upon my blog and want to start at the beginning head over to Emma's Blog to get started :)

Today we will be showcasing a new set called "Sit Back & Relax"!

Aren't those flip flop dies ADORABLE!!! I'm in LOVE! For my card, I've used my CTMH inks and created a little beach scene. I tore a piece of card stock to use as a mask and sponged the sand and then used the same mask to make the waves :) I wanted it to look like the waves were washing in :) I added some stickles just to give a little sparkle. Again, I'm in love with these cute flip flops!! I love that there is a coordinating stamp for the soles! I had a hard time picking which sentiment I wanted to use! I love all of them too hee hee! I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched "Capture" Frame w/arrow die set.

Thanks for stopping by today! Next on the hop is Teri! Have a GREAT weekend! Hugs, Leanne

HAPPY HOPPING!

Here is the line up just in case you get lost along the way!

P.S. This set will not be available to purchase until next Friday, June 27th on blog hop day!

MCT Inspiration Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday ya'll! I hope everyone is having a awesome week :) Today is Inspiration Wednesday over at My Creative Time! I'm suppose to share a picture of what inspired me to make my project so here it is.....

   happy 4th

I bet your thinking hmmm this card don't look like that!! Nope, I just wanted to make a 4th of July card hee hee! I've been eyeing this little baby bald eagle in the silhouette store for quite some time and thought this would be the perfect time to use him! I made the background using the Build a Scripty & Watercolor Background set and the My Little Firecracker stamp set. The sentiment is also from the My Little Firecracker stamp set too :)

I'm not sure if it's because I used liquid applique to his eyes or just the way the light caught but his little eyes in this picture are SPOOKY bahahaha! 4th of July is just around the corner! Have you got plans? My hubs will be on vacation so who knows what we will get into! Hope you have a GREAT day and thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Leanne

Just wanted to let you all know we are having a blog hop this Friday!!

MCT Thrifty Thursday!

Good morning!! Today is Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time! This is where we are to make a project using our scraps! This is right up my alley, I have tons of scraps!!

I used all scraps from my solid card stock to make my little hero. He came from the Silhouette store :) For the background, I used "Build A Scripty & Watercolor Background Stamp" (love this used as a sky!) The buildings are from the "Main Street" set. The little birds are from this last release "Lost at Sea". The sentiment I used is from a older MCT set but still a good "You're My Best Buddy".

Okay, I promise this is not suppose to be a sappy post and I'm trying not to get teary eyed! I know this may sound silly to some but I had my daddy on my mind while I was making this and if he was still here with us this would have been his Father's Day card. He will always be my hero and I'll always be daddy's little girl. This father's day is going to be hard :(

Hugs, Leanne

I then used the Stitched "Capture" Frame w/Arrows and cut two of those (one in navy and the other white). The cute little sailor is from the Silhouette store. I then used the star from Encouraging Quotes and a sentiment from Hey Sailor! I heat embossed those with white embossing powder. Last, I added some twine and a little star from my button stash :)

For my card, I've used two of the pretty butterflies out of the Pretty Butterflies & Dragonfly die set! I absolutely LOVE these butterflies!!! If you look you can tell that they have little specks on them, that is a coordinating stamp that is included in the Live Love Laugh & Be Happy set! Each butterfly has it's own coordinating stamp how awesome is that!! The sentiment is also from the Live Love Laugh & Be Happy set along with the little butterfly trail ( if you look close you can see it under the butterfly, I stamped it in blue so it's hard to see here but not in real life!) The flowers and the lady bug is from the Build A Pretty Flower set that was released last month. I also added some grass (Stitched Grass die) I used the largest cloud from the Fly Away With Me set as a stencil to make my background.

The sentiment is from today's sneak peek, Hey Sailor. I've added some gold stickles to the sand and I used my StarDust Jellyroll pen on the fish! For my first card, I've used the Lost At Sea set and I can't even put in to words how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set! Just wait to you get to see the whole set you are going to FLIP!!! I had so much fun making this card! Everything on this card is from this set EXCEPT for the seaweed it came from the Silhouette store. Also, I used my CTMH inks other than them two things the rest is from the Lost At Sea set!

For my next card, I've used the Stripey Background! This is another AWESOME background that your going to love!! The sailboat is from the Silhouette Store. The bird and the sentiment are both from the Lost At Sea set. I stamped the sentiment on the banner from the Vintage Stitched Label dies. I also used the circle dies from the Bunch of Fun Circle set. Good morning and Happy Memorial Day!! I hope everyone had a awesome weekend and that you have a great day planned with friends or family or both hee hee! We are grilling at my Mom's later on today so I'm looking forward to that!

Welcome to day one of  My Creative Time's 32nd release sneak peek week! This week is absolutely going to have you drooling for release day!! I have to say I love each release that Emma does but this one is just OVER the top loaded with goodies! Today we will be showcasing three sets...Speech Bubble Sentiments w/die, Bunch of Fun Circles, and Build A Scripty & Watercolor Background set.

For my first card and first sneak I've used the Speech Bubble Sentiments & dies. LOVE these dies and the sentiments are AWESOME too! Instead of the sentiment, I wanted to use the hello die but trust me I will be using the sentiments too hee hee! I got the little bee from the Silhouette store. The pattern paper is from my stash and ahumm aren't you proud of me for using pattern paper hee hee It didn't take me hours to pick this pattern out I wonder why bahahaha bee=honeycomb!

Now on to my second sneak! I combined the sneaks on this card! First, I used the Watercolor Background stamp and stamped it using my CTMH Exclusive inks. I wanted to use some colors that I haven't used together before. At first, I wasn't quite so sure I was digging these together but they started to grow on me hope they grow on you too! After I got that background stamped, I went and stamped over it using the Build A Scripty background stamp. I then used the Bunch of Fun Circle dies and layered those (I stamped the Build A Scripty background stamp onto the back one before I layered it) LOVE the circle dies and love how many are in this set and that we can layer them YAY!!!! The sentiment is from the set Way To Go from last month's release. The daisy is from the Stitched Daisy die and I stamped it using the new Build A Scripty Background stamp on it too!

Here's another look at it from the side!

See you back here tomorrow with day two sneaks! Hugs, Leanne

PPPR And Tombow Cross Promotion Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to our cross promotion blog hop! If you have arrived here from Lisa's Blog then you are heading in the right direction! Lisa is also the first on the hop just in case you need to start at the beginning! I hate to announce that this will be my last post with PPPR :( I have decided to step down from the design team. I just want to say thanks to Lisa for this opportunity and also that I will always love and use her svg files. They are all adorable and it's been fun playing them!

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon and Tombow have joined together to share projects using different files and adhesives! This will be my first time using Tombow adhesives and I can already tell you I'm HOOKED!! For my card today, I've used the Graduates Cutting Files! My best friends daughter is graduating this month and what cuter files to use than these adorable graduates! I've got several more graduation cards I need to make and some of them are for guys so these files are perfect and so fun to piece together! I used the Tombow   Mono Aqua Liquid Glue to piece her together and LOVE that it has such a small tip that makes paper piecing a SNAP! The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Follow Your Dreams stamp set. This set is perfect for graduation cards!

For a chance to win a $20 gift card to PPPR & Tombow Adhesive Bundle you must follow all blogs on the hop and leave a comment on each stop! For extra chances head over to their facebook pages and click "Like". Click HERE for PPPR and HERE for Tombow :) Thanks for stopping by today! Now it's time to head to your next stop....Marie's Blog!

MCT Try Me Tuesday!

Good morning! I'm so sorry it's been a while since my last post! On April 28th, there was a tornado that touched down not far from where I live and we were without internet for two weeks. I definitely had internet withdrawels but it was hard to complain when so many families lost everything :( It is still so sad when I have to go that way just seeing the destruction that a tornado can do and how it can happen in just seconds! You would think not having internet that I would have been crafting away but for some reason my mojo just went missing and I took a little break :) Next week is release week and I'm so excited to get started playing with Emma's newest release. Be prepared this release is beyond AWESOME!! Your going to love it! So if you don't see me anymore this week you know why hee hee I'm getting ready for the sneaks!!

Anyhoo, on to today's Try Me Tuesday! Feather's seems to be a trend here lately so we thought it would be fun to make a card or project using feathers! I was going to cut some with my cameo but at the moment me and my cameo are in a love/hate relationship hee hee. I've tried being nice but it's still not wanting to cooperate so for now till I cool down or it one it's in time out as in turned off out!! For this card, I used a stencil with feathers that I found at Hobby Lobby. I used several of my CTMH ink pads to sponge not only the feathers but the background. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pictures (you might can if you click on them and make them bigger) but I went over the feathers with my StarDust Jellyroll pen so there is lots of sparkle in real life. I used the Script Type Background Stamp and stamped over the feathers. I then used the Missing You sentiment from the Floral Sentiments set. I have to say this card gave me fits!! I didn't want to toss it so I just kept tinkering with it till I was satisfied lol! Lots and LOTS of sponging lol!!

Thank you for sticking with me while I was away! Sometimes it's good just to take a little break :) Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy your day! Hugs, Leanne

PPPR Blog Day! Make a Wish!

Good morning! It's my day over on the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon Blog! Today I would like to share with you a fun Birthday card I made using the Make a Wish cutting file set

Isn't this little girl blowing out the candles adorable?!! I just love how sweet she is! This whole cutting file is just to cute! Instead of stamping a sentiment I used the Make a Wish title included in this set. The background is a CTMH stamp from the Laughing Lola Card Making kit that I used randomly on white card stock. I used a white jelly roll pen to add a little details to the title and also to her outfit. I used a brown pen for the corners.

Here is a picture of the cutting file set I used...

Make a Wish Cutting Files

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a awesome day! Hugs, Leanne
